Flickr, now officially (and finally) out of gamma, have announced that they hope to encourage more potential snappers to get involved in the hobby of photography.

But Flickr are looking for a special type of photographer, the household pet. The king of photo sites has revealed plans to launch a gadget that allows our domestic buddies to take snaps wherever they are without the aid of humans. Personal Space ‘Hula Hoop’ to launch

SensoCorp, the world beaters in human psychology technology (PsyTech) announced the launch date for their SpaceHoop product today. SensoCorp hope that the product will attract many buyers with nervous dispositions about their personal space.

The device, due in stores in early September, is essentially a Hula Hoop which can be worn to ‘circumference your waist,’ as the makers state. It provides the wearer with the calming knowledge that it is extremely difficult for others to interfere with their personal space.

Scrollr is based on head camera technologyIt was reported today that UsableSoft, usability software giants, will “improve the usability of software applications and enhance the users time spent on the computer” with their latest venture. Dubbed Scrollr, no doubt in the wake of Web2.0 giants Flickr et al, the product will “seamlessly combine the theories of the WiiMote, the EyeToy and the PC.”
